چکیده

In this paper, we discuss the behavior of conformal field theories interacting at a single point. The edge states of the Quantum Hall Effect (Q.H.E) system give rise to a particular representation of a chiral Kac-Moody current algebra. We show that in the case of Q.H.E systems interacting at one point we obtain a “twisted” representation of the current algebra. The condition for stationarity of currents is the same as the classical Kirchoff’s law applied to the currents at the interaction point. We find that in the case of two discs touching at one point, since the currents are chiral, they are not stationary and one obtains current oscillations between the two discs. Product CFTs, gravitational cloning, massive gravitons and the space of gravitational duals

The question of graviton cloning in the context of the bulk/boundary correspondence is considered. It is shown that multi-graviton theories can be obtained from products of large-N CFTs. No more than one interacting massless graviton is possible. There can be however, many interacting massive gravitons. This is achieved by coupling CFTs via multi-trace marginal or relevant perturbations. The ge...

A Paired Quasi-linearization on Magnetohydrodynamic Flow and Heat Transfer of Casson Nanofluid with Hall Effects

Present study explores the effect of Hall current, non-linear radiation, irregular heat source/sink on magnetohydrodynamic flow of Casson nanofluid past a nonlinear stretching sheet. Viscous and Joule dissipation are incorporated in the energy equation. An accurate numerical solution of highly nonlinear partial differential equations, describing the flow, heat and mass transfer...

We present a comprehensive study of the effective Conformal Field Theory (CFT) describing the low energy excitations of a gas of spinless interacting fermions on a circle in the gapless regime (Luttinger liquid). Functional techniques and modular transformation properties are used to compute all correlation functions in a finite size and at finite temperature. Forward scattering disorder is tre...

HALL AND LON-SLIP EFFECTS ON MAGNETO-MICROPOLAR FLUID WITH COMBINED FORCED AND FREE CONVECTION IN BOUNDARY LAYER FLOW OVER A HORIZONTAL PLATE WITH VISCOUS DISSIPATION

In this paper, we study the effects of Hall and ion-slip currents on the steady magneto-micropolar of a viscous incompressible and electrically conducting fluid over a horizontal plate by taking in to account the viscous dissipation effects. By means of similarity solutions, deviation of fundamental equations on the assumption of small magnetic Reynolds number are solved numerically by using qu...
